In the first half of each session, parents and children participate together in a professionally led activity, that exposes children to new, enriching experiences, lets parents see new aspects of their children, and provides both with much needed quality time.
During the second half of the session we split into groups:
Parents are invited to a guided group session on parenting: we examine situations and interactions that came up in the joint activity and that occur in daily life and explore central themes and challenges in parenting: positive communication, boundaries, sibling relationships and more).
Meanwhile, children participate in an enriching group activity with their peers, and get to practice their social skills.
All of our groups are guided by two parent guides with degrees in education in the fields of education, child development or therapy. Each group meets for 12 sessions.
