Our daycare is part of the education revolution occurring in Tirat Carmel!
Our daycare has 5 classrooms, and serves about 75 children between the ages of one and three.
What makes us special:
Small child to caregiver ratios: In order to provide personal attention to each child, our groups our small and well-staffed. The average ratio in our daycare center is one caregiver for every five children.
Professional staff: Each classroom is led by a head teacher with a degree in early childhood education. Our teacher assistants all successfully completed a caregiver training course and receive weekly training.
Large and spacious classrooms: Children need space, and a pleasant environment that does not over-stimulate, this is why our classrooms are larger than average.
We are an integral part of Hapaot Center: As part of the Center, our daycare is privy to the support of our paramedical staff, early detection of developmental delays and assistance with integrating children with special needs.
Full partnership with parents: Education begins in the home. Maintaining a good relationship with the parents is critical for us in order to be close to the child's world and build a common language with each and every parent.
Healthy nutrition: The daycare provides breakfast, snack, lunch and an afternoon meal. All meals are cooked on site and offer healthy, fresh and varied menu.
Innovative education methods: our daycare center was established based on the ITERS index, which sets international criteria for early childhood education, and in the initial years of its activity, received the educational guidance from the Child Development Laboratory at the University of Haifa, headed by Prof. Avi Sagi Schwartz. Our staff trained in Montessori education and incorporates it into the classrooms.
